Pea Seeds

Plant peas during the cool weather of early spring. Successive plantings during cool weather will produce peas over a longer period. Plant again starting in late summer for a fall crop. Plant seeds 1-2 in. deep in double rows 3 in. apart, cover lightly with fine soil or starting mix. Pre-soaking pea seeds for 8 hrs. prior to planting can enhance germination. Use a trellis for support as needed by variety. For maximum yields and to help reduce plant stress, apply Nature's Aid™ inoculant at time of planting.
