Harvest the first pears of the season with this prized variety originating from Bulgaria. Produces large, attractive fruits that ripen in mid to late July - a full month ahead of Bartlett. Pears have a buttery-textured flesh with a delicious sweet flavor and are yellow blushed with red. Mature trees grow 12 to 15 ft tall. Begin harvesting about 2 to 4 years after planting.
