Famous old-time apple produces huge fruit weighing a pound or more. Originally found as a seedling growing on the banks of the Wolf River in Wisconsin, this tree is very hardy and productive. Extremely large fruit has skin that is blushed bright red over yellow and creamy-white flesh. Excellent for baking, sauce and drying. Resistant to scab, mildew, fire blight and cedar-apple-rust.
