Tolerates extremes in temperature better than most other varieties. When other peas fail to bear under hot growing conditions, Wando continues to do well. Plant a little later in the season for an extended harvest. Will still be producing in heat. Deep green, well-filled, 3-inch pods with 7 to 8 plump, sweet peas. Also tolerates cold weather well. Vines grow 28 to 30 inches tall. Excellent for canning and freezing. Wrinkled.
