A high energy food that is excellent for fall grazing. Tops are a source of protein, Vitamin A and carbohydrates, but are low in calcium and should be mixed with other feeds. Feeding values are similar to an alfalfa and corn ration. Taproots can reach depths of 5 to 8 ft. with leaves developing in pairs to cover the soil surface. Can survive temperatures down to 20°F. Not glyphosate resistant. Sow 1 lb. per acre. 110 days.
