Introduced in the United States in the 1850s and still an excellent variety for very small pickles. Fruits do particularly well when grown on a trellis, frequently growing in clusters of 2 or 3 and yielding continuously, as long as the vines are picked. Pale green on the blossom end and dark green on the stem end. Fruits average 6 inches long by 2-1/2 inches wide, with white, juicy flesh.
