Includes one tree each of Bounty and Oracle. Grow nutritious, soft-shelled almonds even in cold areas with these hardy varieties from Russia. Blooms late, about the same time as peaches, helping them avoid damage from late hard frosts. Bears profuse, pinkish-white fragrant flowers in spring. Harvest in September and use for fresh eating, roasting and baking. Mature trees are 15 to 20 feet tall. While somewhat self-fertile, we recommend planting two varieties for best nut productions. Trees begin bearing about 3 years after planting. Zones: 5-8
