An ornamental edible heirloom from the Indians and homesteaders of Montana and the surrounding region. Decorative ears contain every shade of color known to corn - vivid oranges, golds, reds and purples and each one is different. The small, 4 to 5 foot plants produce long, 6 to 12 inch beautiful ears that can be eaten fresh or dried and ground into flour. Makes gorgeous fall harvest decorations.
