Extra early heirloom bred by the University of Minnesota in 1948. Round, 4 to 5 inch fruits have thick, sugary, golden-flesh that is edible right down to the rind. In areas with longer growing periods, it is possible to grow two crops per year. Compact vines grow only 3 to 4 feet, making them easy to grow in containers.
