Old-time heirloom, mild and sweet, famous as a good yielder wherever it's grown. Oval fruits on compact vines are lightly netted with thick rinds, averaging 4 to 7 lbs. Dark orange flesh is full-flavored and extra-sweet. Very easy to grow, producing well under virtually all conditions, even extreme heat.
