Burpless and bitter-free, will grow to 2 to 3 feet long. These light green ribbed delicacies are best eaten when about 12 to 15 inches long. Fruits set well at high temperatures and are straighter when grown on a fence or a trellis. Don't tell anyone, but this is actually a melon that is grown, harvested and eaten as a cucumber.
