An outstanding yellow-type, standard for market and shipping. Much earlier than Giant Pascal. Plants grow 25 to 30 in. tall and are stocky. Self-blanching. The stalks are thick and heavy, but flesh is tender without strings. Thick hearts form early. One of the best table varieties.
