Sorghum bicolor

Dual-purpose type, grown for both forage and syrup. Best adapted to warm, well drained, sandy loam. Usually will grow well in any area that has a long enough growing season for corn. Can grow to a height of 7 to 8 feet if sown in May or early June. Prepare the soil the same as for corn. Matures in about 100 to 110 days for seed, or 70 to 80 days if cut for silage. Sow 8 to 10 lbs. per acre in drills. 50 lbs. per bushel. (Additional shipping charges will be added to orders of 50 pounds or more during checkout.)
