(Salvia officinalis) Broad leaves, used fresh or dried to flavor pork, lamb, poultry and dressings. Use finely crushed leaves to embellish sausages, cheeses and chicken. Likes cabbage family, deters cabbage worms. Can be grown as a perennial in zones 4-8.
